In a historic step, the National Amateur Baseball Academy of the Dominican Republic (ANBARD) and the National Drug Council of the Dominican Republic (CND) have signed a cooperation agreement to promote a healthy lifestyle among young athletes. This agreement aims to prevent drug use and promote healthy habits in the sports community. Details of the agreement:

• Educational Talks: The CND will offer talks aimed at reducing drug demand and promoting healthy lifestyles among young athletes and the sports community.
• Preventive Programs: Plans and campaigns will be developed to promote a healthy lifestyle and prevent drug use among athletes.
• Training and Workshops: Educational activities will be provided for athletes, coaches, and administrative staff. Sports Clinics: Programs will be coordinated on the risks and consequences of psychoactive substance use.
• Awareness Raising: Days will be organized to raise awareness about healthy lifestyles and the devastating effects of drugs.
• Sports Equipment: The CND will be provided with sports equipment for specific activities.
