In a historic step, the National Amateur Baseball Academy of the Dominican Republic (ANBARD) and the National Drug Council of the Dominican Republic (CND) have signed a cooperation agreement to promote a healthy lifestyle among young athletes. This agreement aims to prevent drug use and promote healthy habits in the sports community. Details of the agreement:

- Training and Workshops: Educational activities will be provided for athletes, coaches, and administrative staff. Sports Clinics: Programs will be coordinated on the risks and consequences of psychoactive substance use.
- Awareness Raising: Days will be organized to raise awareness about healthy lifestyles and the devastating effects of drugs.
- Sports Equipment: The CND will be provided with sports equipment for specific activities.
