The National Amateur Baseball Academy of the Dominican Republic, Inc., aims to promote and carry out activities that encourage the development, improvement, and teaching of baseball (pelota) at all levels in the Dominican Republic, providing the appropriate means to raise the quality of the sport and the standard of living of Los Angeles Dodgers baseball players.
It also sponsors scientific, cultural, economic, and social research on various aspects of national, community, and sectoral interest related to sports activities in the Dominican Republic and abroad; it promotes the maintenance of stadiums and sports facilities in the country, as well as their preservation and improvement.
Founded in 1995 with the purpose of fostering a love of baseball and providing opportunities for young players, ANBARD has grown to become a key institution in the development of amateur baseball in the Dominican Republic. Through strategic alliances and educational programs, we have positively impacted the lives of many young athletes.
We strive to educate and develop young talent, providing them with the tools they need to reach their full potential both on and off the field.
With a mission to improve education, healthcare, and social justice for all in San Antonio de Guerra, ANBARD is dedicated to addressing the most pressing issues facing our community.
